You will be immersed in the heart of Italy, enjoying accomodations at the San Fedele Monastery (www.bornosanfedele.com), shopping the local antique stores for your still life collectibles, gathering wild garlic, poppies, and other garden delights to make your still life composition complete.  We will focus on your concept for your still life painting while enjoying all that the Tuscan region of Italy has to offfer.  Daily activities include demos by Dee, personalized instruction, day trips to Siena and surrounding villages and countrysides, critiques, plus free time to enjoy just being in Tuscany. Dee Kirkham will be exhbiting her still life, Petunias, 8x 10 oil on linen.  The juried art show presents a challenge to area artists to strive for excellence through competition and by experiencing the works of other artists. The Emerald Spring Juried Art Exhibition is held each May. Emerald Art Center exhibits 50-60 juried art pieces selected from over 450 entries submitted from across the United States. This program expands the horizons of area artists and residents, giving them the opportunity to view quality fine art on a broad scale from artists around the country, while bringing national recognition to Springfie

Il Chiostro has joined with Broome Street Gallery to present "Made In Italy: Art and the Il Chiostro Experience 1995-1008".  This juried art exhibit will have paintings done by participants of Il Chiostro's art experiences in Italy and paintings.

This juried exhibit is the Inaugural Exhibition of the California Art club's Orange County Chapter.  Dee's juried painting is "Blue Vase & Oranges", 12x16 oil on board.
